Chris works primarily in the commercial real estate and collections area. He frequently works with secured lenders providing advice and analysis regarding troubled asset loans, including assisting with foreclosures, forbearance agreements, deed in lieu transactions, and short sale agreements. He also assists banks and other financial institutions with operational and regulatory compliance issues.
Prior Legal Experience
Chris joined Poyner Spruill after clerking with the firm in the summer of 2006. The same year, he completed internships for the Virginia State Corporation Commission in Richmond, and for the Honorable Edward Thomas Brady of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.
