Poyner Spruill Welcomes Education Law Practice Group

It is with profound sadness that Poyner Spruill shares news of the passing of Partner, Wilson Hayman. Wilson practiced in the firm’s healthcare section. He was a dedicated member of the Poyner Spruill family for 30 years. He was a committed counselor to his clients, a friend to his colleagues, and a pillar in the community. Wilson was multi-faceted in his talents and interests. He was a talented cellist, who was a devoted and active member of Hayes Barton United Methodist Church Chancel Choir for over 35 years. He also had great interest and knowledge in history. His interest in North Carolina history inspired him to help establish and incorporate the North Carolina Museum of History Foundation, of which he served as vice-chairman. Wilson touched many people and it’s a tremendous loss not only for Poyner Spruill but the community at large. We will miss his quick wit, his contagious laugh, and warm spirit. Our sincerest condolences to his wife, Jennie, and son, Will.

All Poyner Spruill offices will close on Thursday, December 3rd  from 12-2 pm in Wilson’s honor.
