Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to announce that legal assistant Alma Friedrich, PP, CLP has been honored in the Unsung Legal Heroes list by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly.
Friedrich is a Certified Legal Professional and Certified Professional Paralegal. She is based in the firm’s Raleigh office.
This recognition is given to legal professionals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to the legal field. The selection process is highly competitive, with the honor reserved for truly dedicated and talented professionals.
Friedrich has been with Poyner Spruill for two and a half years, and quickly became an integral part of the team. In addition to her duties supporting the firm’s construction law attorneys, Friedrich serves on Poyner Spruill’s DEI Committee and AI Committee. Friedrich is dedicated to helping other legal professionals develop strong professional networks and enhance their careers. In 2022, Friedrich established the North Carolina State Chapter of the National Association for Legal Support Professionals (NALS). She currently serves as the President, and regularly organizes CLE opportunities and networking events for the chapter. Friedrich was honored with the NALS Volunteer of the Year award in 2023, where she was selected by the NALS Board of Directors and the NALS staff from a national pool of dedicated volunteers.
