RALEIGH, NC – Poyner Spruill LLP is proud to announce 17 of its attorneys have been ranked among Business North Carolina magazine’s 2017 “Legal Elite.” This honor awards the top lawyers in the state in 14 categories who are nominated and voted on by more than 23,000 active members of the North Carolina State Bar.
Eleven attorneys in the firm’s Raleigh office were named among the Legal Elite including David Broyles (Young Guns), Kevin Ceglowski (Employment), Bo Dempster (Real Estate), Drew Erteschik (Litigation and Young Guns), Chad Essick(Real Estate), and Susie Gibbons (Employment), Keith Johnson (Environmental), David Long (Criminal), Tim Sullivan (Environmental), Lisa Sumner (Bankruptcy), Jill Walters (Bankruptcy).
In addition, Sarah DiFranco (Young Guns), Kristen Miller (Bankruptcy) and Tate Ogburn (Construction), in the firm’s Charlotte office were recognized as “Legal Elite.”
The Legal Elite Hall of Fame members include Glenn Dunn (Environmental), Charlie Livermon (bankruptcy), and John Shaw (Construction). The Hall of Fame includes lawyers from the top lawyer spot in their category since 2002. This year, fewer than 3% of the state’s lawyers, 644 in all, made the list.
