Poyner Spruill LLP announced today the election of two new partners to serve on its seven-member Management Committee, the committee that acts as the firm’s governing body and is responsible for day-to-day operations.
The two new members are:
Brian F. Corbett (Raleigh) – Brian has a diverse financial services practice and represents a wide array of banks and financial institutions in commercial loan and banking transactions and loan portfolio dispositions. He is recognized as a leading lawyer in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2016 – 2017). Brian is the Chair of the firm’s Financial Services Section and previously served on the Summer Clerk Hiring Committee.
Timothy W. Wilson (Rocky Mount) – Tim is one of North Carolina’s most respected eminent domain and land condemnation litigators. He has tried many significant cases for landowners against condemning authorities in eminent domain matters involving total or partial takings for new highway construction, gas line and power line easements, urban redevelopment, and other public purposes. Tim also practices in the areas of insurance defense and coverage, plaintiff’s personal injury and wrongful death, and commercial and other general civil litigation.
