RALEIGH, MARCH 22, 2018 – Poyner Spruill is pleased to announce Liza Nye has joined the firm as an associate in Poyner Spruill’s Banking and Financial Services section.
Nye’s law practice involves representing financial institutions, lenders, and borrowers in a broad range of finance transactions and regulatory compliance matters. Liza will also be working with the firm’s Real Estate section, representing borrowers and developers in many aspects of real estate transactions.
Prior to joining Poyner Spruill as an associate, Liza worked as a summer clerk at the firm in 2015 and 2016, as well as a legal intern in the summer and fall of 2017. While in law school, she also completed a legal externship at Chiesi USA, Inc., and interned in the legal department of Duke Health’s Private Diagnostic Clinic. Prior to attending law school, Liza assisted in recruiting and marketing functions at another large Raleigh-based firm and spent a summer on Capitol Hill working in the Office of Congressman George Holding.
