Biography

Dylan’s practice includes business disputes, insurance defense and coverage, eminent domain, land use and zoning, and municipal litigation.  Among his business litigation experience, Dylan has represented clients in shareholders disputes and derivative proceedings.  He has handled a variety of defense work for local governments, including § 1983 claims.  He represents individual and commercial landowners in condemnation proceedings initiated by the North Carolina Department of Transportation and private condemnors.  Dylan has also devoted part of his practice to land use and zoning, serving as counsel for boards of adjustment in quasi-judicial hearings for special use permits, variance requests, and appeals taken from administrative zoning decisions.
