What is Project Ethos?
The goal of Project Ethos is to provide veterans an edge in the start-up process. Starting a new business, while rewarding, entails certain challenges. Project Ethos works to offset those challenges through its coalition of affiliates, including its anchor affiliate Poyner Spruill LLP. To that end, members of Project Ethos have access to workshops, mentorship pairings, preferred pricing, and collaborative opportunities with certain affiliates. These resources, in addition to an ever-expanding professional network, give Project Ethos members a decisive head start.
“Simply put, we are a group of veterans that want to see other veterans succeed.”

Mentorship
The mentorship-pairing program connects Project Ethos members with volunteer affiliates. These pairings provide our members with a sounding board for both ideas and concerns. Some of the most important decisions a business can make occur early in the start-up process. And having a mentor available to help guide you through this critical time can make all the difference.

Education
As the anchor affiliate of Project Ethos, Poyner Spruill offers continuing education on an array of business-related issues. These educational opportunities are provided at no charge to both members and affiliates alike. Whether through an in-person seminar or monthly newsletter, our materials analyze current legal issues, emerging markets, and business trends.

Preferred Pricing
Some of our affiliates offer their services to Project Ethos members at a preferred rate. This includes Poyner Spruill, which has prepared legal resources to assist with the start-up process.
