We understand the rapidly changing nature of personnel and employment law in North Carolina school law.

Our attorneys assist clients with: defending boards against employment discrimination claims based on state or federal law (Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972) ; advising and representing school districts in disciplinary proceedings against teachers, administrators, and other school district personnel pursuant to North Carolina law.
