Biography
As a member of the firm’s financial services group, she assists clients with a wide range of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights matters. She has experience representing banks, financial institutions, and corporate entities in restructuring and corporate bankruptcy matters.
She has also represented debtors in complex Chapter 11 proceedings.
Areas of Focus
+Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy
- Serving as outside general counsel for regional bank in connection with the institution’s nationwide portfolio of SBA loans in asset resolution
- Representation of creditors in a variety of debt collection matters
- Represented administrative agent in the restructuring of $500 million credit facility for customer management outsourcing company
- Represented restaurant franchisee group in chapter 11 proceeding in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina, including performing legal research for and drafting first day motions and various key pleadings
- Represented a continuing care retirement community in complex chapter 11 proceeding in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, including drafting various key pleadings
